Level 1 Product Design Technology

Course Description

Teacher in Charge: Mr J. Norris

This is a full year course in which students design and develop innovative outcomes using mixed materials. Covering areas such as,

- Research and design
- Materials technology
- Electronics
- Basic workshop skills
- Computer Aided Design

The students will complete two manufacturing projects over the course of the year.

Note: This course leads to university entrance approved subjects.

Recommended Prior Learning

A good level of numeracy and literacy are required to enable the student to complete the research and design stage of this project successfully. Year 10 Art or Design and Visual Communication would be beneficial.
