Course Description

The course enables students to extend their Accounting knowledge and skills to manage the financial affairs of businesses with an emphasis on partnerships, companies and manufacturing entities. Students will cover the following Accounting practices:
• Processing: gather and sort financial information that can be used to prepare financial statements
• Reporting: prepare financial statements for a variety of users to provide information about their
financial performance and position
• Decision-making: demonstrate understanding of job-cost sub-systems

Workbooks and revision cards are available (approximately $45.00). Purchase is strongly recommended.
Recommended Prior Learning
Reasonable success in Level 2 Accounting or at the discretion of the HOD.
