Year 9 English

This course will focus on the skills of reading and writing. It will involve the study of texts such as novels, plays, films, non-fiction, poems and short stories. There will also be a focus on learning writings mechanics and grammar skills. Students will use a Learning Journal to keep a record of their writing. This journal will be a site for dialogue between the student and their teacher, and an ongoing record of the student’s progress.
