Level 2/3 Tikanga

The Tikanga course develops Te Ao Māori, and Māori skills and knowledge, through the exploration of Māori, concepts, issues and practices.  Students will gain NCEA standards at Level 1, 2 or 3 depending on a student's prior learning, individual strengths, experiences and interests. The course will be based in Hotuwaipara the school marae. 

Possible fields of study may include: Tikanga, Manaaki Marae, Māori Tourism, Māori Performance, Mau Rakau, Taonga Pūoro, Nga Mahi a Te Whare Pora.
