Year 9 Product Design Technology - One Term
Course Description
Teacher in Charge: Mr J. Norris.
This course focuses on using modern CNC (Computer numerically controlled) manufacturing techniques to produce a variety of skill based outcomes. Outcomes could employ the use of state of the art laser cutter, 3D printer, a CNC embroidery machine and dye sublimation. Design ideas are generated on computers digitally using software packages to create high quality outcomes and construct them in a dedicated classroom developed to support this style of project. Traditional workshop techniques and equipment will not be used on this course, but ideas and creativity will be developed and explored.
The images below are just indications of what could be made on this course.
