Year 10 Product Design Technology

Students will further develop their understanding of the technology process by carrying out more in-depth research and development. They will also extend their knowledge and understanding of electronics and construction techniques from the manufacture of their outcomes. Greater emphasis is applied to creating their own designs using 3D software, 3D printers and the laser cutter as well as applying standard workshop techniques.

This course is highly recommended for students wishing to study Year 11 Product Design Technology and also leads on Year 11 Furniture Making and Mechanical Engineering.
