Recommended Prior Learning

Open entry. Previous experience on a musical instrument, which can include voice, will be an advantage.

This course covers a wide variety of musical aspects that includes:

  • solo performance
  • group performance
  • composition
  • music history
  • aural
  • theory
  • taonga pÅ«oro

We strongly encourage all students to learn an instrument either through the school itinerant music scheme, or with a private tutor.
