This course will help you understand what it means to be 'employment ready' which is what employers are looking for! You will gain these necessary knowledge and skills through some classroom work but also hands-on courses and hopefully, work experience to get a real insight into what it really means to be employed in the adult world of work.

The units of work you will cover during the year will explore a wide range of topics employers have identified as being important in the workplace. Doing this course will certainly help you think about and prepare for your future working life.

Units of work may include may include both theory and practical learning:

• participating productively in group tasks (includes mini -project)
• describing community services and being involved in community services
• managing personal well-being and practical activities
• producing a curriculum vitae (CV)
