Year 11 Media Studies

Media Studies offers an academic and exciting field of study. 11Media balances sociology with media production to give students a working knowledge around how to read, critique and create a range of media products. 

Each term, students will study and produce a different medium. From magazines to films, students will explore media’s relationship to society and consider how messages may be communicated through various media. In a world where our media use drives so many of our every-day interactions, understanding the role it plays in our lives has never been more important. 

This course leads to L2 and L3 Media Studies, and is a university entrance approved subject.
