Recommended Prior LearningReasonable success in Level 1 Art. Interested and able students who did not do Level 1 Art, may submit a portfolio and seek approval from the HOD.
Students will produce work in response to a graphic design brief, using handmade and digital processes to generate, develop, extend and regenerate ideas in outcomes such as logo design, packaging, poster design, digital platform (app/web page) or magazine/ leaflet cover/spreads. They will apply and extend their design skills and techniques using new and familiar tools such as digital SLR cameras, Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign.
