11ARDP Course DescriptionTeacher in Charge: Mr A. Cartwright.
Recommended Prior LearningAchievement in Junior Art or with approval from the HOD.
This course will introduce students to a range of photography and design skills, techniques and digital processes for use in the presentation of ideas.
Students will develop an understanding of a variety of tools including the digital SLR camera, Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign. Students will generate, develop and refine ideas in response to their interpretation of established practice (artists' works) while demonstrating knowledge of photographic and design conventions. Assessment Information
School assessments will be based on the following topics:
Use practice based research methods to gather and record visual and cultural information
Creating a sustained body of related artworks in response to an art-making proposition
Level 2 Art Design, Level 2 Art Painting, Level 2 Art Photography, Level 2 Design and Visual Communication
Contributions and Equipment/StationeryApproximately $50.00 for personal art stationery.
