Level 2 Art Photography
Course Description
Teacher in Charge: Mr A. Cartwright.
This course will enable students to develop their skills in photographic image making. Students will research established practice (other artists' works) and use it to develop ideas and techniques in their own work. They will extend their understanding of tools and techniques through the use of digital slr cameras, and Photoshop. The final body of work, external assessment, is presented on a two A1 folio panels. Recommended Prior Learning
Reasonable success in Level 1 Art or Level 1 Photography/ Design. Interested and able students who did not do Level 1 Art, may submit a portfolio and seek approval from the HOD.
Contributions and Equipment/Stationery
Approximately $55.00 for personal art stationery.
It is to students' advantage to have their own digital SLR camera.
We are grateful to families making voluntary payments to assist with course specific costs.
