Year 11 Art
11ART Course DescriptionTeacher in Charge: Mr A. Cartwright.
In 11 Art, students will explore a range of drawing, painting and printmaking techniques and styles for use in the presentation of their ideas. Students will generate and develop a body of work that investigates a local theme. Students will document their ideas and processes in a workbook, as well as produce final outcomes - drawings, paintings, prints- for exhibition.

School assessments will be based on the following topics:
Use practice based research methods to gather and record visual and cultural information
Creating a sustained body of related artworks in response to an art-making proposition
Level 2 Art Design, Level 2 Art Painting, Level 2 Art Photography, Level 2 Design and Visual Communication
Contributions and Equipment/StationeryApproximately $70.00 for personal art stationery. We are grateful to families making voluntary payments to assist with course specific costs.
