This course covers business formation, function and management of a large business. Important ideas are developed in the classroom and also through links with the local business community.
The internal assessments are all research based and cover market research and motivation, as well as setting up and running a small Social Enterprise business to sell or provide a service to the local community, these businesses should be funded and all proceed going to a charity or good a cause in Lower Hutt.
Approximately $35.00. This covers all 6 assessments internal and external. We are grateful to families making voluntary payments to assist with course specific costs.
Reasonable success in Level 1 Business Studies or reasonable success in Level 1 English or at the discretion of the HOD.
This course is approved for University Entrance.
