Course Description

Teacher in Charge: Miss A. Francois

The course offers a flexible and diverse learning experience where students will experience a range of topics in the field of physical studies.

Assessments will be student-selected from a range of Achievement and Unit Standards, based on individual interest and need (more Unit Standard options to be looked at next year).

Areas of focus in the course are: Adventure Based Learning (Outdoor Education), Fitness Studies (Sports Science), Sociology/Leadership.

Approximately $100.00. HVHS PE uniform. We are grateful to families making voluntary payments to assist with course specific costs.


Recommended Prior Learning

A keen interest in physical activity and also some success at NCEA Level 1 or at the discretion of the HOD.
