Year 9 Design and Visual Communication (Two Terms)
9DVCOF Course DescriptionTeacher in Charge: Ms S. Thomas.
This course teaches students how to express their creative ideas through drawing and 3D modelling, both by hand and using computer software. Students will then apply these skills in a project, either designing spaces or in product design.
In the spatial design option, students will design spaces for people, focusing on how individuals move and interact within those environments. In the product design option, students will create products for people and places, taking into consideration the users' needs and wants.
This course provides a comprehensive foundation in design principles, allowing students to bring their innovative concepts to life.
