Course Description

This course aims to develop students’ understanding of art processes and techniques, as well as how artists use these to produce artworks. Students will experience a wide range of media and techniques with links to the study of art works, artists and art movements. Practical art-making activities will utilise a variety of different media and techniques and will include drawing, painting, design, photography, printmaking and sculpture. This course will help to prepare students for Year 11 Art. It will build on the skills and knowledge learnt in the Year 9 Art courses.

Contributions and Equipment/Stationery

$45.00 - includes Art pack and contribution towards class materials and projects.
We are grateful to families making voluntary payments to assist with course specific costs.

Recommended Prior Learning

Open entry. Priority is given to students who earned Achieved grades in Year 9 Art.
