Level 3 Art Design

Course Description

Teacher in Charge: Mr A. Cartwright.

Students will produce a body of work, around a topic of their choice, which uses traditional and contemporary design practice to clarify, extend and regenerate ideas. They will further extend their design skills and techniques by investigating and applying a range of handmade and digital processes, and tools such as digital SLR camera, Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign.  The external assessment is presented on three A1 folio panels.  Check out our website for examples of artwork: https://hvhsvisualartsanddesign.weebly.com/ 

Recommended Prior Learning

Reasonable success in Level 2 Design or Photography. Interested and able students who did not do this course at Level 2 may submit a portfolio and seek approval from the HOD.

Contributions and Equipment/Stationery

Approximately $45 for personal art stationery.
We are grateful to families making voluntary payments to assist with course specific costs.
