Level 3 Art Photography
Course Description
Teacher in Charge: Mr A. Cartwright.
Students will produce a body of work, around a topic of their choice, which uses traditional and contemporary Photography practice to clarify, extend and regenerate ideas. They will further extend their photographic image-making skills and techniques by investigating and applying a range of relevant photographic processes, such as DSLR camera skills and editing in Photoshop, in the production of their ideas. Recommended Prior Learning
Reasonable success in Level 2 Photography. Interested and able students who did not do this course, may submit a portfolio and seek approval from the HOD.
Contributions and Equipment/Stationery
Approximately $60.00 for personal art stationery. In addition, students will need a digital SLR camera. Students should request further information before purchasing cameras.

Only students engaged in learning and achievement derived from Te Marautanga o Aotearoa are eligible to be awarded these subjects as part of the requirement for 14 credits in each of three subjects.
