Level 3 Music

Course Description

Teacher in Charge: Mrs K. MacDonald.

This is an advanced practical music course. Students will develop on their prior music making practise by selecting their own course of study from the following standards:

  • Solo performances and programming
  • Solo performance on a second instrument
  • Group performances
  • Composition
  • Songwriting
  • Musical research
  • Arranging
  • Harmonic and tonal analysis

Assessment will be selected from these standards based on individual need.

Recommended Prior Learning

Reasonable success in Level 2 Music, or at least four years of recent instrumental tuition with the discretion of the HOD.
