Recommended Prior LearningOpen entry. Priority is given to students who earned Achieved grades in Year 9 Art.
Students will develop their understanding of art processes and techniques, as well as how artists use these to produce artworks. Students will experience a wide range of media and techniques with links to the study of art works, artists and art movements. This includes variety of different media and techniques and will include drawing, painting, design, photography, printmaking and sculpture. This course will help to prepare students for either Year 11 Art courses. It will build on the skills and knowledge learned in the Year 9 Art courses.
