Level 2 Digital Technology

This course provides students with an in-depth understanding of advanced concepts and procedures in Digital Media using a range of recognized industry standard software applications. The course covers a range of digital media areas such as:
- Image Manipulation
- Web Design
- 3D Modelling
- Virtual reality and Augmented reality
Students will complete two projects over the course of the year.
Note: This course leads to university entrance approved subjects, the standards below may change based on the new Digital Technology standards being introduced by NZQA.

Reasonable success in Level 1 Digital Technology or at the discretion of the HOD.
This course is eligible for subject endorsement.
Total Credits Available: 16 credits.
Externally Assessed Credits: 3 credits.
Internally Assessed Credits: 13 credits.
Further assessment opportunities will not be offered for this standard inline with NZQA guidelines
