Level 2 Mechanical Engineering (ITO)
Course Description
Teacher in Charge: Mr J. Norris.
This is an engineering workshop based course in which students undertake a number of practical projects while developing metalworking skills and processes. This course prepares students for trade based apprenticeships and will also include a placement at one of our 'Partner Engineering Companies' for once a week for 4 weeks. During this placement students will be introduced to real life engineering workshops and gain the opportunity of using industrial tools and equipment not available in the school workshops.

Recommended Prior Learning
Reasonable success in Level 1 Engineering or at the discretion of the HOD.
