Level 3 Spanish
Course Description
Teacher in Charge: Mr J. Trujillo-Ramirez
Skills in listening, reading, writing and speaking are encouraged and developed through a variety of activities including group work, peer to peer review, one-on-one time with the teacher and whole class teaching. There will be opportunities to exchange ideas and opinions with Spanish speakers in other schools.
In negotiation with the students a variety of themes and topics will be decided. The topics could be human rights, environment, traditions and Spanish culture, Spanish music, Spanish and Latin American cinema, technology, immigration and emigration. These will be guided by the student's interests.
Students are required to do 2 internals and 2 externals in this course. However, there is a 3rd internal available to those students who would like to gain more credits (Interactions).
We also offer to Spanish classes the extra value of having an Spanish Assistant that will contribute in building up the students language learning skills.
