Level 3 Design and Visual Communication
Course Description
Teacher in Charge: Ms S. Thomas.
Design and Visual Communication is a drawing and design course that focuses on themes relevant and engaging to the age group. It guides students from conceptualisation and idea refinement to the formal presentation of design solutions through detailed drawings and 3D models.
Students will develop professional presentation skills and learn to make informed decisions through the evaluation of ideas. They will have the option to specialise in either spatial design or product design standards, with the possibility of pursuing both in exceptional circumstances.
At this level, students can choose their preferred visual communication mode, whether freehand, digital, instrumental, or a combination of all three. This flexibility allows them to produce outcomes in the way they are most comfortable and effective.
