Course Description

Level 3 English Internal is a course for those who may be looking for a University Entrance option without having to complete external examinations. 

Students will continue to focus on reading, writing, listening, speaking and viewing skills. They will be prepared to write essays responding to connections between texts and studied films. Students will also complete a research task and a speech. Stud

All assessments are Achievement Standards. The course offers 14 credits including 4 reading credits. There is an option for writing credits if needed.

Recommended Prior Learning

Reasonable success in Level 2 English. Year 13 English is open to everyone but this will be a challenging course if you did not take Year 12 English, or did not have success in the subject.
